I was browsing through youtube last night and came across this demo of Nadia.

I actually own the VHS tape but hadn't watched it in years. I shook off the dust and was amazed all over again. You can really see how she has influenced the modern Lebanese belly dancing and especially Amani. In fact at the end of the tape Nadia does a drum solo with Setrak which is the same music for the famous Amani Drum Solo. Nadia however does only the beginning. Nadia also does her famous Bonanza galloping horse step which was later copied by Nariman Aboud.
I don't think Nadia's style is as graceful and elegant as many Eygptian dancers but there is no disputing her energy and the power she packed in her shimmy.
I believe this performance was one of her last before she died. Nadia is older and I swear she wears one of the most ugliest costumes I ever saw in the second half. But you can see the love the people had for her.
