Thank you Norma! Yeah, that was great music. Easier to dance well to great music than lousy music with the wrong beats. The film shows up better if you click on the "HQ" button at the bottom of the "TV" screen module. Meant it to look like a Gypsy campfire.

My Mom had secrets about "zil" from way back. Let me know if anyone wants me to come anywhere to do a workshop. Great "Zil" really make a show.

Hey can you re-shoot that in better lighting? I can hear your zills (nice by the way) but I can't see you, just a bit of sparkle here and there. Oh dang I miss that Greektown music.

Hey Everyone!,

We were just talking about Ozel Turkbas on the other post and I mentioned her karsilama skills.

I just shot a short clip of me doing Karsilama last night and posted to youtube today. I invite everyone to look at my blog which gives the full story behind the vintage music I used.

The standards in Greektown NYC clubs were so high. The foreign girls that came over in the heyday were the cream of the crop and the music-God-the music was sensational! It was hard to be a lousy dancer with music like that. if it didn't move you-you were dead!
