Hi, I have a bunch of old Habibi Mags. from Vol 1and 2 (a few) to 13. They date from the early 70's thru the 80'2. Lots of old pics, ads, articles etc.
I also have a LOT of old belly dance lp's.
My question - would anybody want this stuff, or should i toss them out? If someone did want to buy them, what would i ask?

Tue, December 19, 2006 - 12:23 PMOh I'm postive somebody would want that stuff. I know some people collect the old LP's for the album covers. The Habibi articles have tons of history. I regret getting rid of a lot of my old stuff.
What to ask, I don't know.

I'm cleaning a lot of stuff out, since i might be moving. need to clean and make room anyway.
I've been hoarding stuff for 20 years.
Is there anything else you were looking for, just in case?
I've tossed old mags and flyers, but still might have things.
What kind of deal were you thinking?

I tossed out a bunch of workshop ones i had, cuz I don't have permission from the teachers, and some that the quality had degraded.
I do have old show vidoes from the 80's early 90's shows. Mostly in Ca. these were copies given to me - don't know where or if there were even originals. Any original vids, If i don't want them, i can list. Haven't gone thru them.
Are you converting anything to DVD? I'd give them to you (less shipping) if you made a copy (if that's legal).
I have not cataloged the lp's. I have HUNDREDS. A lot of belly dance, a lot of folk music, mostly from the near and Mid east and the Balkans.
Were you looking for something in particualr?

Wed, December 20, 2006 - 8:05 PMI'm not sure how much anything is worth. Except for historical value. i don't want to throw them out, and our next swap is months away. I want to get rid of stuff fast, with little trouble to myself.
I'm willing to swap for something I can use.
Papers and lps are heavy so I don't even know if they're worth the shipping.
